Photographer Becomes the Model – Stock Photography Idea

While doing a photoshoot in Lawrence Kansas, my wife recommended we take some photos of ourselves. I placed my camera on the tripod and got to work. The Olympus app was quite handy. I chose the Olympus EM1 Mark II over my Canon RP in this case to get a greater depth of field.

Have you learned much from turning the camera on yourself? These photos were placed on Adobe Stock and Shutterstock and are already starting to sell. Jen and I both signed model releases to make these commercially available.

Gear used for the shoot:

Olympus EM-1 Mark II (Very Good Used $545)

Panasonic 14mm F2.5

Neewer 72 inch tripod

Luminar AI
