Goocong Flexible Tripod Review

It’s hard to believe I bought this for under $10. In fact, it was only $7.50 on a Prime deal. Check the current price here.

The build quality of this tripod is solid. I’ve bought similar items and this exceeded my expectations for sure. The legs have solid wire inside that holds the position well. They are covered in a thick rubber which helps the tripod from sliding around. These are durable and will last years.

An added bonus of this item is you get the phone mount/camera bracket. Pretty much any size phone can be mounted horizontally (landscape) or vertically (portrait). This is nice if you need to mount your phone for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok. You can also mount a DSLR or mirrorless camera from the mount. I recommend only using lightweight primes if you do this. The ball can only hold so much weight. My Canon RP with the 50mm F1.8 and Olympus EM1 Mark II with the Panasonic 14mm F2.5 both work fine. The Canon with a Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 is not happening. This is a great way to mount additional lights and being able to hang them in places normal light stands won’t work.

I have three of these already and keep one in my camera bag at all times. The lightweight and versatility make these mini tripods a win in my book.

What is your experience with tripods like this?

Do you have any recommendations to test?
