The Olympus E-M1 was released in 2013. It is still an amazing camera for professional photography. It could easily be argued the autofocus and video features are not up to the quality of cameras released these days. You can pick these up used for around $250 which makes them an excellent starter camera.
The E-M1 Mark II is a noticeable step up. It was released in 2016. The autofocus is much faster and more reliable. The video features are excellent for the price. It features dual SD card slots and a large battery over the original. These are the reasons I would recommend gen 2 over the original. The Mark 2 runs about $550 in very good condition used.
The lens used for this video was the Panasonic 25mm F1.7. It is highly versatile and great for portraits.
The on-camera footage was courtesy of the Insta360 X3 360 camera. It is quite fun and excellent for situations such as this.
The background music was created by me. The title is Syncopated Silicon. The version in this video does not have drums while the edit on streaming services will have them.
